做薑餅

今天，我和媽媽到傷健人士協會學做薑餅。我們到達後，馬上到詢問處報到。負責教導我們做薑餅的導師是何姑娘。
何姑娘首先講解一次整個制作過程，然後就輪到我們自己做。
記得其中一個步驟，就是要把搓好的麵粉做成不同形狀，圖案的餅，何姑娘提供一些制餅模給我們，也鼓勵我們自己創作圖案。
我和媽媽合力制作了十多款，例如：薑餅人、月亮、星星、聖誕樹等。最後，我們把這些薑餅放進焗爐。十五分鐘過去，一盤熱呼呼的薑餅就展現在我們眼前。
我們細心地品嚐，發覺原來自己親手做的食物是特別美味的，而我也很享受做餅過程的樂趣。

Our First Time to Shopping

Karen and I went to the New Town Plaza in Shatin yesterday. It is the first time only two children go to shopping, no parents join together.
First, we went to the Popular Book shop. We looked a lot of things, they are very interesting and cute. Although we had few money, we decided to spend and buy some Christmas cards for our friends. We remained ten dollars only.
After that, we went to the candy shop. We saw many sweets. We liked all of them, but we loved Hello Kitty the most. We spent another five dollars to buy a pack of Hello Kitty chocolate. It was very yummy.
Next, we met our teachers, Miss Poon, Miss Leung and Miss Cheung. I thought they go to shopping together. We talked about five minutes.
It was five o’clock and we should go home.
“Oh my god!” we have two dollars only! We can’t go home by bus.” Karen said.
“Don’t worry, my friend. We can go home on foot. I think it takes twenty minutes only and it is good for your health. We also can enjoy the beautiful Shing Mum River sight.” I said.
“Ok, let’s go!”
I think it’s a wonderful day for us and it was our first time also.
